Product suite
Building Blocks
The MOPS product suite is built with a modular design so that new applications can be easily added at anytime to the mill’s tool kit. Firstly, the foundation is laid with the collection of data from many sources via our link solutions. The data from DCS, QCS, PLC and manual data entry is stored in our process database - MOPS Historian). Also other historians as PI, PHD, GE, etc. can be data sources to be integrated.
Browser based Trend and Dashboard
MOPS 4.0 is a web-based interface to view MOPS process data
PROCESS HISTORIAN
MOPS Historian is a process database that acts as a central repository for both current and historical process data.
Paper Quality
MOPS Paper Quality Information System (PQIS) is a database that collects information about different types of paper rolls and lab data from the process database.
Data Entry
MOPS Data Entry (MDE) module is a laboratory information management system designed to meet the special sample and data management requirements of a modern paper and pulp mill.
Production Loss Analysis
Everyday there are many disturbances in process units in the mill. Keeping track of when these disturbances started, when they stopped, lost production, lost time, and their causes, is typically a manual job for the operator or shift foreman.
Process Diary
One of the biggest challenges in the mill today is the overabundance of data. This includes data from the various computer systems and electronic databases, but also data that resides in various written log books throughout the mill.
Machine Equipment Tracking
One of the key elements for the performance of your paper machine is your felt and wires. In the pulping area, efficiency of your refiners is related to your plates.
MOPS OCT Online Cost Tracking
MOPS Online Cost Tracking (OCT) allows you to automatically calculate a cost on what you are producing, and also calculate cost on lost production due to machine shuts etc.
MOPS Performance Value Indicator
The WinMOPS Performance Value Indicator (PVI) makes it possible for you to compare current values with values from a reference period of “good running”, to be able to easily discover values that are deviating from the reference period.
MOPS Centerlining
Trends from the different “time periods” are superimposed on top of each other making the comparison easy, and the display also allows you to find the “centerline” of the selected data periods, and use it for analysis and improvements.
MOPS Prediction & Simulation Analysis
MOPS Prediction & Simulation Analysis (PSA) predicts the coming process situation using data model and production plans, and allows you to always have a view into the future.
MOPS Lot Tracking
The MOPS Lot Tracking (MLT) application is a solution to provide a pulp tracking and shipping system specific to the forest industry. It is designed to be adaptive to your business process, strategy and vision.
Bale Quality
BQIS is a system that helps users see the quality inside a bale, so they can make informed decisions and take the right actions to finish the pulp for the customer.
MOPS Energy Management System
MOPS EMS (Energy Management System) is a set of tools and services that allows you to monitor and analyze your current energy balance, and also collect statistics and perform long-term analysis of your energy situation.
MOPS Integration
OPC UA is the next generation of OPC technology. OPC UA is a more secure, open, reliable mechanism for transferring information between servers and clients.

MOPS is built for the Windows platform using technologies making access available from other platforms. The MOPS platform is modular, composed of micro-services and micro-frontends, making it possible to customize and extend installations to meet the needs of each customer. The user interface is based on standard web browsers. Communication protocols are HTTP for regular service requests and MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) for asynchronous event distribution, ensuring access from any system.
